We start with the first antidepressant

You feel disappointment, vainness, nothing can awake your interest in surrounding world….Honey, you have depressionL No doubt, you can cope with it by yourself but if you feel you can’t do it, just visit your doctor or psychiatrist. You can be prescribed some therapy or antidepressant. So, today we start to discuss different kind of antidepressant which can help you with depression.
Our first antidepressant would be Zyprexa. Zyprexa’s a medicine used in treatment of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia. It also called atypical antipsychotic or psychotropic. So, psychotropic medicine can effect your mind, it can help you with schizophrenia symptoms such as hallucinations, apathy or with bipolar disorder symptoms such as anxiety or irritability.
You should know that you won’t feel the result of treatment just after your first taking of Zyprexa. Your brain need time to recover. The result depends on you health state, on your dosage, on the depression weight.
No doubt, before taking Zyprexa you should visit you doctor. You should inform a doctor about medicines you’re taking or you took before Zyprexa, about any health problem, and if you’re pregnant or planning to have a baby or if you’re a nursing mother it can happen that Zyprexa can do harm to your baby. So, antidepressants’re treat clinical depression or dysthymia. It’s interesting to know that antidepressants’re studied by many doctors, scientists or psychiatrists.
Antidepressants help people to manage a depression and maintain recovery from depression. Antidepressants isn’t a joke, it’s a very dangerous medicines! So, you should take it under doctor care.
The choice of the right antidepressants depends on the weight of the depression, on your age, on the state of your health and so on. Someone can use combination of medicines and therapy. As it believed, antidepressants’re more effective than therapy.
Antidepressants help people with depression by making natural chemicals called neurotransmitters more available to the brain. Neurotransmitters are needed for normal brain function and are involved in the control of mood and in other responses and functions, such as eating, sleep, pain, and thinking. Antidepressants can help you to be saved from hopelessness, sadness, and other symptoms of depression.
In general, antidepressants are taken for about 4 to 6 months but as a rule it should be discussed with a doctor.
There’re a lot of antidepressants but we can divide them into:
1. Tricyclic antidepressants (tricyclics)
2. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs)

We’re talking about side effects of Atarax

Hallo, my dear friends! I’m the same, your Dr Mellissa D. Miller. And I continue to inform you about allergy medicine called Atarax. Last time I gave you some available information concerning general characteristic and dosage of Atarax. Today I’ll inform you about Atarax side effects and contra-indication.
Every time I tell you that before taking any medicine you should obligatory visit your doctor or health care provide or pharmacist to consult and diagnose. Remember it! If you don’t care about your health it would be worse for you.
So, if you’re pregnant or nursing mother or you’re planning to have a baby you should avoid Atarax because it can influence your baby. Just discuss this problem with a doctor.
You should also avoid alcohol during taking Atarax because it can increase the effects of Atarax.
It’s important to inform your doctor if you’re taking any other medicines, for example:
- Narcotics, non-narcotic analgesics
- Barbiturates
- Antidepressants
During taking Atarax it can happen that you’ll experience side effects, such as:
- twitches
- dry mouth
- convulsions
- tremors
- drowsiness
One more available advice for you: avoid any actions that demand mental
alertness.

We continue protecting our family from allergy

Hallo! It’s me again, Dr Mellissa D. Miller. Today I’ll give some available information concerning one more allergy medicine called Atarax. Today you’ll get to know its general characteristics and dosage.
Atarax has some differences from other allergy medicine. Although Atarax’s an antihistamine and it treats symptoms of allergy, it can also help you with and treat tension or anxiety. So, if you transmit any diseases, you can recovery your health with Atarax.
If you decide to take Atarax, it’s very important to consult with your doctor, pharmacist or health care provider for choosing the right dose for you, for discussing contra-indication and side effects. If you don’t do it, your health’ll be in dangerous.
The main rule of taking Atarax’s that this medicine is taken for 4 month. So, if you need to continue taking Atarax, your doctor’ll have to write you one more prescription.
According to function of Atarax, its dosage can be different:
1. Atarax as a allergy medicine
-Children aged under 6: daily dose’s 50 ml, which can be divided into smaller part of dose
-Children aged over 6: daily dose’s 50-100 ml, which can be divided into smaller part of dose
-Adults: 25 ml three or four times a day
2. Atarax as a tension or anxiety medicine
-Children aged under 6: daily dose’s 50 ml, which can be divided into smaller part of dose
-Children aged over 6: daily dose’s 50-100 ml, which can be divided into smaller part of dose
-Adults: 50-100 ml four times a day
3. Atarax as a help with anesthesia:
- Children: 0.6 ml per 2.2 pounds of body weight
-Adults: 50-100 ml
If you experience overdose you should ask for emergency.
If you miss a dose, you should just miss it and continue taking Atarax according to schedule. Just don’t take it twice a day.

Hallo to every visitor of this site! I’m Dr Mellissa D. Miller and today I’ll give you information about Allerga side effects. Taking into consideration an imposing importance of information, you should be attentive!
If you didn’t consult with a doctor properly or didn’t follow doctor’s prescription you can experience medicine side effects such as:
- nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, upset stomach
- drowsiness, tired feeling
- back pain, headache
- menstrual spasms
You can also have more serious side effects such as:
- fever
- chills, body aches
- cough
- difficulty breathing

In my previous post I informed you about general characteristic of Allerga. Today I’d like to give your some available pieces of advice concerning Allerga. So, the first and the most important rule’s to follow your doctor prescription, do not take any drugs without consulting with a doctor or a health care provide.
Before taking Allegra your should tell your doctor if you’re allergic to any
drugs. As a doctor, I can give you some available recommendation which’ll help you to recover without any aftereffects of illness:
- Don’t forget to mention your doctor all medicines you’ve taken before Allerga.
- Don’t take Allerga with fruit juice because Allerga wouldn’t be so effective as it might
be.
- Don’t take Allerga if you suffer from kidney disease.
- Don’t start taking Allerga if you’re pregnant or you’re planning to be pregnant. It’s better to visit a doctor. As far as nursing mother’s concerned, Allerga can harm baby. So, you should visit your doctor.

Don’t take antacid than consist of magnesium or aluminum (for example, Mylanta, Milk of Magnesia, Pepcid Complete etc.).
- Don’t take more of Allerga than have been written in you prescription.
- Keep Allerga away from children and at room temperature.

Hi there!!! I’m glad to see you! As you know, I’m Dr Mellissa D. Miller and today we’ll talk about some great allergy medicine called Allerga. Now I’ll tell you its general information which I hope help you to choose the right treatment.
So, you should know that Allerga’s antihistamine. It means this drug decreases the natural chemical histamine in the body. It’s important for you because just histamine produces symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itching and watery eyes.
Allerga’s intended for adults and children for treating outdoor allergy, skin itching and hives.
Allerga’s available in:
- 30 mg-peach-colored tablet
- 30 mg/5mL oral suspension
- 60 mg-peach-colored tablet
- 60 mg-white/pink capsules
- 180 mg-peach-colored tablet
Tablets and capsules of Allegra can be taken by 6 year- old child. Oral suspension (liquid) of Allegra can be taken by 2 year-old child and under 12 year-old. If you treat your child for chronic idiopathic urticaria you can use oral suspension (liquid) of Allerga.
Take Allerga following doctor’s recommendations. Only doctor or health care provider can choose for you the right dose.

Discover more allergy medicines!

Hallo my dear ;) Dr Melissa D. Miller’s very glad to see you and to help you. Today I’d like to continue discussing allergy medicines. And today I’ll pay my attention to the medicine called Clarinex.

Clarinex’s an antihistamine. What does antihistamine mean? It means that Clarinex protects from histamine. It’s important because histamine’s a substance which’s inside your body and it’s released by immune system during an allergic reaction. So Clarinex can help to relieve the symptoms of indoor and outdoor allergies. I have already given you information concerning allergy symptoms. Clarinex can also de an ongoing itching and hives medicine. But remember that Clarinex can’t treat asthma. It can only treat indoor allergy in adults who’re ill with mild-to-moderate asthma.

Let’s talk about Clarinex dosage.

1) Clarinex(desloratadine)Tablets’s available in 5 mg dose and should be taken once a day. It’s prescribed for children who’re 12 years old and over;

2) Clarinex-D 12 hour Extended Release Tablets’s available in 2.5 mg dose and should be taken twice a day by children who’re 12 years old and over;

3) Clarinex-D 24 hour Extended Release Tablets’s available in 5 mg and should be taken once a day by children who’re 12 years old and over;

4) Clarinex Reditabs’s available in 2.5 mg dose for children aged 6 and older and a 5 mg dose for children aged 12 and older. It should be taken once a day. Moreover, Clarinex Reditabs has sweet "tutti frutti" flavor for children. And it’s treats not only indoor and outdoor allergies but also chronic idiopathic urticaria and hives.

5) Clarinex Syrup’s available in 0.5 mg per 1 ml for infants as young as 6 months with indoor allergy and for children as young as 2 years with outdoor allergy. Clarinex Syrup comes in a bubblegum flavor. It should be taken once a day in the morning.

In general, Clarinex can be taking with or without food (but with food it’s better) and at the same time.

Of course, you can trust this information but I suggest you to visit a doctor and choose the right dose.

What about side effects!? The most common side effects of Clarinex’re nausea, headache, fatigue, sore throat or dry mouth. If you’re interested in getting more information about Clarinex you should visit your doctor. Anyway, during your treatment you should be under doctor’s care.

We continue to speak about one of the spring peculiarity-allergy…and about its treatment

Good day! This’s me, Dr Mellissa D. Miller. Last time we discussed wonderful allergy medicine called Zyrtec. Today I’ll give you some available information concerning dosage and side effects of Zyrtec.

So, almost every medicine has its side effects but don’t worry, it doesn’t mean that everyone experiences side effects. Anyway, you should know about side effects in details because people who aren’t interested in medicine they’re taking can suffer from its side effects.

So, the most common side effects among 6-month-old infants to 23-month-old:

- the child can be cranky

- the child cannot able to sleep

- the child can be fussy

- the child can feel tiredness and discomfort

The next side effects can be experienced by 2-year-old children to 11-year-old.They can have:

- drowsiness

- sore throat

- stomach pain

- headache

And children aged 12 and older can have:

- drowsiness

- dry mouth

- tiredness

If you don’t want to experience these side effects you should listen your doctor carefully and follow his recommendations, especially its concerned the right dosage.

You should know that Zyrtec consists of pseudoephedrine. So, ZYRTEC-D 12 HOUR is contraindicated in patients with:

1. Prostate hypertrophy

2. Narrow-angle glaucoma

3. Severe hypertension

4. Urinary retention

5. Receiving monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor therapy

6. Severe coronary artery disease

7. Hypertension

8. Ischemic heart disease

9. Diabetes mellitus

10. Renal impairment

11. Hyperthyroidism

12. Increased intraocular pressure

Because of pseudoephedrine the patient can experience excitability, nervousness, dizziness, convulsions, restlessness, tremor, insomnia or weakness.

Be careful!!!!

Don’t forget that before taking Zyrtec you should consult with your doctor about the right dose for you or for your child.

ZYRTEC is available in 5 mg and 10 mg tablets, 5 mg and 10 mg chewable tablets, and 1 mg/ml syrup and it’s last 24 hours.

ZYRTEC-D 12 HOUR is available in an extended release tablet and it’s last 12 hours.

Zyrtec can be taking by adults and children over 2 years old to treat indoor and outdoor allergies. Infants can take Zyrtec to treat indoor allergies.

It’s quite difficult to choose the right dose without examination. So, you should obligatory visit your doctor for examination.

The spring has already came and it seems everyone’s happy to observe how grass’s turning into green, flowers’re coming out and the other sunny gladness of spring…But some people mean by spring their first allergy symptoms such as:

The flu has come...We need the right treatment

Hallo, my dear! Yesterday my little 5-year-old grandson was taken ill with the flu. This disease’ very dangerous, especially for children. It’s obligatory to know the flu symptoms such as fever (higher than 100° F), dry cough, headache, muscle aches, sore throat, extreme tiredness, stomach symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, runny nose. And if you or your child have these symptoms you should immediately call a doctor. The flu’s very contagious virus which can give dangerous complication, especially for people who are 50 and over. So, it’s very important to choose the right medicine.

I’d like to introduce you the effective flu medicine-Tamiflu. I believe so because for a long time everyone in my family who was infected with flu were treated with Tamiflu. Why do we choose Tamiflu? Let’s talk about this medicine.

Tamiflu prevent and treat for flu. It’s not only for mature people but for adults and for children who are 1-year-old and over.

As compared with other flu medicines ( such as vaccinations, antibiotics and over-the-counter treatments), Tamiflu doesn’t only prevent and treat but also make flu symptoms easier.

All parents know how it’s difficult to make the child to take the drug except for Tamiflu because it’s in available capsules and a liquid form for young children.

Now we’ll talk about dosage. Dose’s vary for adults and children. Moreover it’s vary for taking Tamiflu with the purpose of prevention or treatment.

1) 12-year-old adults and over…For treatment Tamiflu should be taken twice a day (in the morning and in the evening). I suggest taking medicine with food or just after. Don’t take Tamiflu with kidney disease; it’s better to talk to your doctor. For prevention Tamiflu should be taken once a day for at least 10 days.

2) 1-year-old and over…For treatment medicine should be taking twice a day for 5 days according their weight. This information you should discuss with your doctor. For prevention you shouldn’t evaluated for duration of therapy of longer than 10 days.

Anyway, all information you should discuss with a doctor.

Generally, Tamiflu’s innocuous but sometimes you can experience nausea and vomiting.

Tamiflu has a contra-indication for pregnant women or nursing; for highly allergic individual to

oseltamivir phosphate or any other Tamiflu components.

I repeat that you should consult with a doctor before taking Tamiflu.

So, my grandson’s treated with Tamiflu and I’m sure of his recovery. I hope this information’ll help you to struggle with annual epidemic such as flu.
